Fixed Mold opening and inspection Bench
The bench is designed to open/close and rotate molds in total safety and complete automation. These operations are carried out by a single operator without any effort.
It consists mainly of a solid electro-welded structure to ensure absolute parallelism between the platens without the risk of damage to the guide pins.
Two permanent magnetic platens are mounted on the fixed and moving platens.
Both platens can tilt 90° to allow inspection and cleaning of the molds.
A roller conveyor ensures easy loading/unloading of the mold. The electronic equipment is operated by Siemens PLC, software of our own development and a hydraulic control unit. The photoelectric barrier positioned on the front of the bench as perimeter protection ensures the absolute safety of the operator.
The bench with max clearance of 470 mm between the opposing platens in vertical position, stroke of 450 mm and thrust force of 18 KN at 100 bar allows to open molds having max dimensions of 600x700x300 mm, and Max weight of 600 kg, with temperatures up to 160°C.
